The new iPhone has already passed through the hands of iFixit.

The iPhone 15 is built similarly to the iPhone 14.

Last year the team of iFixit engineers had promoted the repairability of the new model, explaining that its internal components have been specially repositioned by Apple in order to facilitate the teardown and replacement of defective parts.

The iPhone 14 "is the most repairable iPhone in years", said iFixit CEO Kyle Wiens in a blog post. The score of 7 out of 10 was the best assigned to the smartphone since the iPhone 7.

This year iFixit gave the iPhone 15 a low repairability score of 4 out of 10 due to Apple’s parts-pairing requirements, making it more difficult for independent repair shops to fix the device.
