Lionel Messi is set to play his first playoff match in the MLS Cup at the end of the month.

His team, Inter Miami CF, secured its spot last Wednesday by winning the Supporters’ Shield, the trophy awarded to the team with the most points in the overall standings of the regular season.

The match will take place on Friday, October 25, in Fort Lauderdale. The opponent is not yet known. Usually, an MLS Season Pass subscription is required to watch the matches, but this time it will be a free event for everyone.
