Some users are seeing a new button on their TikTok profile.
If they tap on that button, the video will expand horizontally to take up the whole screen.
TikTok confirmed the limited test to TechCrunch. It appears to be an attempt to compete with YouTube. It follows a push to longer 10-minute videos from TikTok earlier this year.
The good news? Creators could soon create a single video that’s optimized for both YouTube and TikTok.
