Picture-in-picture (PiP) shrinks a video into a small player so you can keep watching while using other apps on your mobile device.

Picture-in-Picture playback has existed on the iPad since 2015, but it took Apple a few more years to bring it to iPhone (iOS 14 in 2020).

Twitter is now offering users the ability to utilize picture-in-picture mode on their iPhones and iPads.

Starting a video in Twitter and then swiping out of the app leaves the video player open, so you can use other apps while continuing to watch video content from the social network.
