After the launch of a new paid subscription formula, Elon Musk is now planning to sell popular usernames.
As reported by The New York Times, “Twitter engineers have discussed running online auctions where people can bid for the usernames.”
Last month, Musk said in a tweet that Twitter could start freeing up 1.5 billion usernames. A few weeks earlier, the billionaire had already signaled in a tweet reply that he was interested in freeing up inactive accounts.
