Snapchat has just introduced "Footsteps," a feature that allows you to track your movements around the world.

This option leverages the Snap Map to show you the places you’ve explored, based on the photos saved in your Memories.

The first time you use it, "Footsteps" relies on your past travels, but afterwards, it will use real location data (remember to disable "Ghost Mode" if you want it to work). You’ll be able to see how many countries you’ve visited and even what percentage of your city you’ve explored (40% of your city, for example).

With "Footsteps," Snapchat sets itself apart from competitors like Instagram and TikTok, transforming the Snap Map into a true travel diary. It’s a fun way to keep track of your adventures and share them with friends through a personalized sticker.
