iOS version 23.14.79, recently released on App Store, allows you to transfer chat history from one iPhone to another without using iCloud. Now you can download WhatsApp on a new iPhone, register with the same number, then use the old device to scan the QR code displayed on the new iPhone to start the transfer.
Meta-owned messaging platform is also rolling out landscape mode support for video calls and a silence unknown callers option.
