iOS 18 will be available starting September 16, 2024 (a few days before the release of the new iPhone 16 models).

The list of supported devices is the same as iOS 17 (it is not guaranteed that all features of the new operating system will be available on older models). It will be compatible with all iPhones starting from the SE2, XR, XS, and XS Max models.

Apple has already made the Release Candidate (RC) version of iOS 18 available for download on iPhone (the RC versions of iPadOS 18, macOS 15 Sequoia, watchOS 11, tvOS 18, and visionOS 2.0 are also available). The Release Candidate corresponds to the final version that will be available to all users next Monday.

The most important novelty of iOS 18 concerns the customization options for the Home screen and Control Center.
