Secondo Mark Gurman, il 28 ottobre Apple rilascerà iOS 18.1, il primo aggiornamento con funzionalità basate sull'IA.
Nella sua ultima newsletter Power On, il giornalista di Bloomberg ha spiegato che il lancio è stato posticipato di qualche settimana rispetto alla data inizialmente prevista perché Apple vuole assicurarsi che "la transizione avvenga senza problemi e che i suoi server cloud siano pronti a gestire l'aumento di traffico previsto".
L'aggiornamento introdurrà alcune delle tanto attese funzionalità di Apple Intelligence. Ma per l'arrivo in Italia bisognerà attendere.
Il rilascio di Apple Intelligence sarà graduale. Prima negli Stati Uniti ed entro la fine dell’anno nel resto nel mondo (in lingua inglese), tranne che nei Paesi dell’Unione Europea perché Apple si è detta preoccupata dagli effetti del Digital Markets Act (DMA). L’anno prossimo arriveranno altre lingue (cinese, francese, giapponese e spagnolo).
