The new iPhone has already passed through the hands of iFixit.
The team of iFixit engineers has promoted the repairability of the new model, explaining that its internal components have been specially repositioned by Apple in order to facilitate the teardown and replacement of defective parts.
"The iPhone has been redesigned from the inside out to make it easier to repair," said Kyle Wiens in a blog post. "This design improvement is a big win. These changes to the iPhone will help it last longer and reduce its overall impacton the planet. With any luck, it will inspire other manufacturers to follow suit", said iFixit CEO.
The iPhone 14 is "the most repairable iPhone in years". The score of 7 out of 10 is the best assigned to the smartphone since the iPhone 7.
