WhatsApp beta for iOS 22.15.0.73: what’s new?
WhatsApp has just submitted a new update through the TestFlight beta Program, bringing the version up to 22.15.0.73. The version marked within WhatsApp Settings is 2.22.15.73.
What’s new in this update? WhatsApp is updating the time limit to delete messages for everyone, for some beta testers!

Two weeks ago, we posted news about the feature that lets people delete messages for everyone. In particular, after installing the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.15.8 update, some beta testers are able to delete messages within 2 days, 12 hours. WhatsApp is now releasing the same improvement to certain iOS beta testers!
We know that the previous limit was 1 hour, 8 minutes, and 16 seconds but, as you can see in this screenshot, we tried to delete a message sent over an hour before and the option “delete for everyone” still showed up, so this is the best way to check if the feature is already available for your WhatsApp account. If “delete for everyone” doesn’t show up, don’t worry: there will be another beta update that will make the feature available for your account. In addition, WhatsApp is also planning to offer group admins the ability to delete any message in groups in the future but we don’t have further details at the moment, unfortunately: there will be another update that enables this feature at a later date.
The new time limit to delete messages for everyone has been released to certain iOS beta testers, and more activations are planned over the coming weeks.
