Whether you’re a recent grad or a college dropout, I’m sure your resume looks a lot better than mine did 48 years ago.

Wow, I read your book about your beginnings, it was inspiring to many of us, how your mothers started a computer club, and you crashed the system because you logged into the system using your full name, instead of an 8 character username (without spaces), and how you and Paul would work whole night, sleeping for only a couple of hours under the table, etc. It was amazing. I live in a third world country, PNG in the Pacific region, and you inspired some of us to study computer science in the mid 1990s. Nowadays, we want to bring computers into our rural areas, for young people to learn about computers and use it as a tool in their lives in this modern world. We wish Microsoft could assist our young people to be computer literate. I have a project in mind to establish a computer room for a school in my village, and would appreciate very much if Microsoft could assist in any way.

Maybe it's not most stylish resume but the summary is actually enormously good for the boy around his 19th. 😀 I even like that old school typewriter look, but it's just me.

Looking back at my old resumes from my early twenties almost made me faint from embarrassment. Then I realized, as I grow and learn, my resume grows and looks smarter. I used to have 3 pages for a resume, with thick and bold separation lines for each section. My descriptions only outlined mundane duties, not what I achieved. So really, I don't think I have anything to be embarrassed about. Failure is our teacher. Learn it, move on. Glad to see this Mr. Gates. I always admired your humility. Keep it up!

utopian to create centers like the vaccinodromes in order to help millions of people (elderly, foreigners, naturalized French, homeless, undocumented etc.) with social professionals, red cross, translators…. In the same center. Aid is inaccessible for some, no computer tool, no human. Millions of people still don't know their rights, so like the vaccine, all you have to do is centralize all these people in the same gigantic place or finally the people come out not for a Covid vaccine but for adequate answers and papers. Idealist but in budgetary operation with all the subsidies granted to various associations here and there, it is perhaps appropriate to regroup to better reign or rather to help, no?

After 48 years, Gates' resume is still 90% more accurate and self-improving than the average person's. If I were a hiring manager, I would hire him immediately based on that resume. It also tells us that 40 years later, our education still lacks preparation for the workforce, but tuition has increased 1200%; in 1970, the average annual tuition at Harvard was $4,070 per student; now it is $51,000, almost twice the rate of cumulative inflation. Even Edgar Allan Poe, if he were alive, would be exacerbated by this increase.

Sophistication involved in resume writing paired with the potential of a resume required to beat software bots these days, is what led us to Resumekart.com business. It is amazing to get a sneak peek into the level of detailing presented in #billgates decades old resume. It confirms that even in those times the simplicity to present details to generate clarity of thought in the mind of recruiters was still the no. 1 attribute desired in writing a resume.

Hello Mr. Gates, Your resume is still impressive. I wish, I could been an associate of your's then, it has been said, that it is never too late.maybe some how it become a reality. I am always amazed about your intentions, your devotion to save the environment and the world. Your are an inspiration and an awesome individual.  I would like to request something from you which is totally out of the norm for me. I have survived throughout my lifetime by avoiding asking for assistance or support from family or friends. I live in Silicon Valley and; the prices for lodging is, as you know is completely outragious and  out of control.  To point, I am asking you to make a contribution to me as a tax write off or as funds for any other form of expenses. You can consider it as a good well gesture funds so, I can purchase a home. I know this might be an unusual request and I am sure others have asked you for more or less.  I understand that this is your money and you can distribute it as wish, but l felt that I should ask anyway. I am one who is used to being the type of person who neglected to ask for help but, now I understand the qoute: " a closed mouth never receives anything." Please take my request seriously and consideration. Thank you and God bless 🙏

Wow! looks great even though it is just a page. The courses and experience are what amazes me. I am a final year student studying Engineering Physics but my resume will be 1 on a scale of 1 to 10 whiles yours will be at say 9. I am not letting my guard down again, I have started taking some online courses to make my CV better than yours 48 years ago. It is just a matter of time and I will get there.

You were lucky Bill. Not MS-DOS nor other Microsoft products were as amazing as people may think. You guys made a deal with IBM and Intel and then could kick out the other competitors at the time. What we learn from your story is that politics plays the first and most important role in career, product development, etc rather than quality.
