WhatsApp beta for Android 2.20.197.4: what’s new?

WhatsApp has just submitted a new update through the Google Play Beta Program, bringing the version up to 2.20.197.4.
What’s new in this update? Discover all details below!

• The feature Expiring messages is not actually available.
• This feature is under development: it means that WhatsApp is actually working to develop and improve it before the release. For this reason if you don’t see this feature in your WhatsApp build it’s not a problem.
• If you don’t see the update on the Play Store, please refresh the Google Play Store in the next hours.

We have already talked about the next WhatsApp feature, expiring messages, that will automatically delete messages from both sides without a trace.
In the 2.20.197.4 beta update, WhatsApp is improving the section used to manage this setting:

WhatsApp is planning to release a new Privacy Policy for Brazilian users!

When the Privacy Policy will be available in Brazil, WhatsApp is going to show this in-app banner to inform the user. The same should happen for Brazilian iOS users as well.
We have no details yet about what the new Privacy Policy contains, but probably it’s something about Payments, recently enabled and disabled in Brazil.
